Did I ever mention how much I adore (-yes, ADORE-) Panic! at the Disco? XD

I’m a huge fan of the band. I must say, they are a pretty eccentric bunch, wouldn’t you say so? *wink wink (-LOL-) Not only do they name their songs with incredibly long titles that are based from quotes and lines in old movies, but their songs are also rather different from the ones the people usually tend to listen to. That’s exactly what I loev about them. They have this unique music thing going. Their songs do not usually talk about how a guy feels so depressed after breaking up with his girlfriend or anything like that, anything so emo (which I find very exaggerated sometimes). Their songs are so different, so catchy and the lyrics are great in its simplicity XD

And the music videos. I love their videos. I especially love the video (and the song too) for Lying is the Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off. The vid features people with their heads inside fishtanks. At first, I was confused and freaked out. I mean, hello, people with fishtanks? I actually researched about the song–and the band as well, of course.

The fishes inside the fishtank represent how many people an individual has slept with so far. The woman in the video finds a fish on the ground and puts it inside her fishtank, which already contained several ones, and farther ahead she sees a crowd standing around a dead man’s body. His fishtank lay broken near him too. Flashbacks showed that the man was the woman’s husband. She commits suicide by spilling out the water in her fishtank and dies beside her husband. The ambulance came, the P!ATD members arrived to take the bodies away in bathtubs filled with water, and they threw (Wow, THREW) the bodies away into the sea. * Pretty cool, isn’t it? So meaningful XD

One of the songs I like most, and which I just recently listened to, is There’s a Good Reason These Tables are Numbered, Honey, You Just Haven’t Thought of it Yet. I haven’t seen the video, however. I absolutely love the vibrant mood of the song, it really fits in with their band’s personality. The music is awesome. I’ll post a part of the lyrics here. Yuhoo. \m/
