ABS-CBN bags rights for television series based on the movie Twilight

Imagine how dumbfounded I was when I read an entry about this news in one of the blogs I was browsing through to find the movie download. The local ‘remake’ television series of the popular Twilight movie is not merely a voice over, but several TV actors would be playing the roles of the main couple, the Cullens and the other characters, and they have decided to name the show Takipsilim.
At first I thought it was just the blog author’s creations as an avid Twilight fan, but I have read several other blogs as well and even comments in the FS bulletin.
ARE THEY SERIOUS?
Even if they do find the perfect local actors who would be stepping into the Cullens’ and Bella’s shoes the series would definitely be . . . short-lived. Imagine how cheesy the lines would sound if they were said in Filipino– the show will only attract most girls and lovelife-deprived women all over the country. And certainly the network would be criticized once again for their constant lack of originality in its drama series and even the game shows.
//Edit: I see that Takipsilim was simply a hoax. Which means, it isn’t real. Now I can finally live on in peace.
